Whidbey Beta and Express Tools

by javery on June 28, 2004

Microsoft Watch is reporting that we will be graced with the first real beta of Whidbey next week, as well as some new “Express” tools for hobbyist developers. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new beta, I just wish that we had a go-live license for it. I am starting a new pet project and it sucks big time to have to use 1.1.

The express tools are a pretty good idea, I know alot of people have downloaded the Web Matrix tool to try out ASP.NET, hopefully these tools will do the same for winforms. (And hopefully they will be free)

I am looking for a jig saw that is smaller in size than the ones I see in stores. I need to cut out small sguare holes in wood.
