While switching between OS X and XP in VMWare I always get tripped up when using shortcut keys like Ctrl-C, Ctrl-A, Ctrl-V, etc. On the Mac these use the little Apple key, on XP they use the Ctrl key. I think this can be switched in OS X, but I would rather just have the Apply key act like the Ctrl key in XP. By default it acts like the Windows key, but I almost never use that key in vm. Well, turns out that is pretty easy using a nice little utility called SharpKeys. Quick and easy install, setup, reboot, and good to go.
