Live HTTP Headers

by javery on July 24, 2004

The more I use FireFox and all the extensions available the more I enjoy them. The latest extension I have put to use is Live Http Headers, which basically does the same thing as ieHTTPHeaders for IE. You can view the current http headers in the View Page Info page or you can view them live as they are transmitted and received.

Check it out.

You can find a more updated version of Live HTTP Headers (v.9 instead of v.8) at

Check out these tips here:

My favs include a CSS stylesheet that blocks 90% of non-popup ads and change the cursor to a crosshair for links opening in a new window.

Does anyone know if they have released a Live Headers for FireFox 1.5 yet? The last version that I downloaded said it wasn’t compatiable with FireFox 1.5 even though the website said it was.

call me new at this, but why would I need to see headers? How is this a beneficial feature?
