Well, I finally got Infozerk.com done and uploaded. Pete’s wife Heather helped me out (Thanks!) with the design, and actually got me started on using a table-less css design. After working around all the IE bugs I finally got it all working correctly in both Firefox and IE, and I have to admit it is so much cleaner than table layout.
My sister is an artist and I talked her into doing the logo for me, I am pretty happy with the results.

I like the simple clean look!
Cool….the site looks nice. I’d like to see the code for the tableless layout.
By the way, I like the use of "We" in the company description. Is this the royal "We"? To quote the animaniancs, "How many people do you have in there?"
James – nice, clean looking site. I applaud you on taking the jump – I wish I had the nerve to do so, but I’m still in the "making excuses" stage.
BTW, I am a local guy, too, and would like to attend a Cincinnati Geek Dinner. Keep planning and keep us updated.
The site looks great! I also use the "We" phrase, but it is obvious from the rest of my web site that it is just me. Yet, people don’t seem to mind. Contact me directly through my blog, James, for some ways to market yourself on the web (you may already know these, but it never hurts to review them again).
Looks good dude!! I would put some links to your published articles and/or books so potential clients can see them. I am far from taking the jump but I think it is cool that you did!
Sorry to buck the trend here, and anonymously nonetheless, but the site is too stark. It’s a good start, I like the color scheme, but you need SOMETHING to soften it up. Go ask your sister for some translucent graphics of some sort.
I too am guilty of using "we", but I’m sure it is a pretty thinly disguised veil. I am the only "employee" who answers email, the phone, or questions in my user’s forum.
Good job. I am always envious of those that strike out on their own. I live in the north end of Cincinnati. Would be nice to meet up with your Geek dinner. Have you been involved with the MSFT Developers at MAX?
How/where do you see new work coming in?
