GMail Notifier

by javery on August 24, 2004

Someone sent me a link to this today, very cool. It sits in your system tray and notifies you of new email, it even pops up the email subject and first couple lines in toast! (like outlook)

Thought, it asks for username and password from me, it does not seems to work behind ISA 2000 server.

I’ve been using it for a few days now, and I really like it.

It’s pretty cool… two complaints:

1. It uses 8.4megs of memory… c’mon, that’s a little bloated.

2. I can only have it access one gmail account… I have three, and I want it to check all three.

Another thing is gmail Drive with 1 GB of space and it is really quick and nice.

Check it and get your results.
