&lt;p&gt;You mention that you have multiple VMs for various clients etc. Do you host these on an external drive?  I only have a couple of VMs and they seem to be taking up a fair chunk of my Mac Book Pro HDD. I&#039;ve got loads more questions about these sorts of things. Let me know if you ever have some time to chat about it.&lt;/p&gt;
