Deep Fried Bytes: Developing .NET Software on a Mac

by javery on July 7, 2008

Last week I was a guest on Deep Fried Bytes and the podcast is now live. It was a ton of fun to talk with Keith, Woody, and my fellow guest Leon Gershing. The focus of the podcast was about writing .NET software on a Mac, which is actually becoming much more popular and it is a ton of fun.

(remember if you want to sponsor DeepFriedBytes let me know)

I’ll have to see this. If I can develop in .NET on a Mac, then I probably won’t be as hesitant to buy a one.

Thanks!

I enjoyed the episode very much. Especially as I have joined the ranks of .net developers using a mac. I have been meaning to talk to you about the VMs that you use.

You mention that you have multiple VMs for various clients etc. Do you host these on an external drive? I only have a couple of VMs and they seem to be taking up a fair chunk of my Mac Book Pro HDD. I’ve got loads more questions about these sorts of things. Let me know if you ever have some time to chat about it.
