Day 2: Some Bad, Some Good

by javery on June 8, 2005

Today was a mixture of up and downs. I went to two architectural sessions that really disappointed me. One of them was way to general and high-level, the other was just too boring. It got better though as I went to the Test Driven Development BOF with Darrell Norton and Scott Bellware and actually got to meet James Newkirk which was awesome. It was great to hear about people are using TDD and their experiences with it.

Then I went to the Microsoft’s role in the community BOF with Josh and probably talked way too much about what I think Microsoft should be doing in the community, and especially what they should not be doing. I really need to put it all together in a blog post one of these days.

Overall an OK day at the conference, the BOFs really saved the day. Hopefully I will find some better sessions tomorrow.
