Cincinnati-Dayton Code Camp Was Awesome

Wow, the camp really turned out well. As Jim notes there were somewhere around 130 to 140 people with 24 sessions in 4 different tracks. Jim worked his tail off putting this thing together, I was glad to see it go off so well. (and based on the feedback I got the day of the event and through email afterwards everyone had a great time)

What was really amazing to me was that it felt much more like a mini-conference, like one day of TechEd, than most one-day events. It sure beat the pants off the MSDN or Dev Days events I have been to. I think what made it so good was the sheer number of awesome speakers we had, I was impressed by the quality and diversity of our different talks.

Time to start planning the next one.

Now if only Chicago could get something like this going. I've been to some of the MS Dev Days events and have never been exactly blown away by the content and presentations. Its much more of a marketing event than a technical drill down on various development topics. It was nice to see Ruby getting some attention there as well. Congrats!
