I take that back.....Office Document Image Writer that comes in MS Office is very handy. It installs a print driver that you can print things to, which scans them into a file. I use this mainly to print articles off the web to, then store them in a folder to read later. You can annotate them and such in the Office Document Image software.

I know that Journal offers similiar functionality, but I have found I perfer the one that comes with Office.

If it doesn't come with it, pick up OneNote. I have found this to be far better than the Windows Journal software that comes with Tablet PC OS. Also, for IM, MSN Messenger 6.1 has some nice ink enabled features. I haven't found anything else I couldn't live without.

I’ve been using one for quite a while. Actually was able to look at an early prototype. I think they are great machines. You’ll enjoy it. Tell me if you think the Del key is in the wrong place ….
