Focusing on Focus

by javery on April 21, 2008

My guest post over on 47hats is now live. I wanted to detail some of the recent things I have been doing to help me focus better, and Bob was gracious enough to let me do a guest post over on his site.

Let me know what you think.

Great post and well timed ! Two minutes before I read the post I wrote a twitter entry that said: ’so much to do / so much to learn / so little time’

I love what I do and while that is a benefit in many ways it can also be a curse … I can get stressed because there is so much I wish to do :-(

I’m in the processing of organising my life and workload at the moment :-)

Cheers – Steve

Great article James. I too keep something with me to capture ideas all the time. If you haven’t read "Getting Things Done" by David Allen, you should. Sounds like you are already implementing a lot of what he advocates, but I’ve found the ideas in his book invaluable in keeping my head above water.

Ironically I read the first half of Getting Things Done, but never finished it. :) I definitely implemented some of his ideas though.
