If you loved this book you have got to read all his others. Glamorama was my all time favorite. Some of the characters even enter each book. They are great to read and very hard to put down. I am a huge fan!

I believe this is almost 20 years old and was written as one of his very first books. At the time he was hailed as a literary Wunderkind, here to describe the disillusionment of his generation. There was also a movie made. http://www.imdb.com/…/

If I remember correctly the book is semi-autobiographical in the sense that Ellis used his own experience as base material.
